To give alternate nostril breathing a go, start by using one hand to cover your nose. Let your thumb rest gently over one nostril and your finger over the other. Close one nostril and take a slow, deep breath in through the open one. When you’re full of air, pinch that nostril shut and breathe out through the other one. Take a quick pause, then inhale again through the same nostril before switching it up and exhaling through the other side. It’s a nice little rhythm to settle your mind and body!
