The TSY program consists of ten weekly sessions, guiding you in a calm and structured manner to reconnect with your body. Each week features a specific theme designed to help you gain new insights and skills.
The initial weeks focus on regaining awareness of your body and cultivating a sense of safety. Next, you’ll learn to release tension and strengthen self-compassion. The final phase helps you apply these new skills in daily life, experiencing greater control and confidence.
Sessions are led by certified instructors and professionals experienced in trauma-informed care. There is no obligation to share personal experiences, and all exercises are optional.
Trauma Sensitive Yoga provides a safe, guided approach to bringing your body and mind back into balance. Movements are simple and fully adaptable to your needs. Breathing exercises help reduce tension and enhance awareness of the present moment. Moments of reflection allow you to consider your experiences without judgment or expectation.

Tijdens een eerdere training heb ik met dank aan Roderick kort mogen proeven wat een moment van rust, focus op ademhaling en Kokoro yoga voor je kan betekenen. Iedere ouder kent wel de combinatie van een druk gezinsleven, maar ook bijvoorbeeld druk-en stressvolle (werk)situaties. Roderick heeft mij in 1 op 1 sessies na een zeer warm en hartelijk welkom door hemzelf en zijn partner Angel verder geïnspireerd, tools en trics en tips meegegeven van Kokoro yoga, focus op ademhaling en een moment van rust voor jezelf. Dagelijks of situationeel kan ik nu goed uit de voeten met het geleerde en ben ik hen dankbaar.
Roderick zijn fijne manier van benaderen, het delen van kennis en de overdracht hiervan gaan verder dan alleen maar het geven van instructies voor een oefening. Het zorgt echt voor een verdieping van de yoga en hij is altijd bereid om de tijd te nemen voor iedere vraag die hebt, super fijn!
Fijne Yoga studio. Heb nu een paar proeflessen achter de rug en tot nu toe zeer goed bevallen. Persoonlijke aandacht en een ongedwongen sfeer maken dit voor mij een fijne studio.
